Summer is knocking on our doors, we are looking forward to it and we want to look perfect. It’s not our body we are most focused on it’s also our skin we have to think about. It has to look amazing and it has to look and stay healthy and young. Winter is over and spring is leaving us soon, so we have to heal the wounds that are left from the colder season.

Exfoliate your skin

Because winter is cold and much more different than the summer and it involves lots of layers of clothing and everything else. Exfoliation is very important for keeping our skin healthy. You should use a gentle scrub to exfoliate the dead skin and the dry skin on the driest parts of our body such as elbows, knees and feet. Don’t forget about your face too! Cloths, microdermabrasion kit and scrubs will help you a lot. You just need to take off the dead layer of your skin and afterwards, you can put the best moisturiser for your type of skin to get the glow you always wanted.

Exercise

Exercising regularly will keep your body and skin fit and ready for the summer. It increases circulation and sweat is a great detoxifier and it will help in improving your system. If you have problems with cellulite, you can smooth and tone down the effects, and exercising can keep your skin look healthy. Also, nowadays you can apply the fake tan so it can hide all the irregularities that you don’t like. Go for longer walks, jog more go to the park and exercise outdoors because the weather is better and you will much better afterwards.

Sun tanning

You must know that during the summer your skin on your hands and face is most exposed to the sun. Sunscreen will protect your skin from dangerous ultraviolet (UV rays) and it can prevent the possibilities of getting skin cancer, sunburn, wrinkles, etc. The best way to choose the right sunscreen is to get the one without ingredients such as like ecamsule, avobenzone, oxybenzone, titanium dioxide, sulisobenzone, or zinc oxide. Water resistant sunscreens are also great especially if you like to swim a lot or exercise outdoors. Sun can also speed up the aging of the skin so if you have any problems with it there is a solution at skin rejuvenation clinic.

The Food

If you are on any kind of a diet the best way to help your skin is to add lycopene. This chemical will help your body to fight with the damages from the sun, as well as swellings, redness and blistering. And you can find lycopene in cooked tomatoes and tomato sauces as well as in other red fruits such as watermelon and pink grapefruit. It is also very important to stay hydrated as much as possible, so you should drink a lot of water. If you are going to the beach, don’t forget to bring a bottle of water!

After sun care

If you missed a spot while you were putting your sunscreen on and your skin gets red, the best anti-inflammatory cure is to take ibuprofen so that it can reduce the pain. You should take it 24 hours after the sun exposure and you can also take some kind of a cooling lotion or aloe which will keep the red areas moisturized and so it can speed up the healing process altogether. Also, you can apply any other cream that will help you with cooling and you can avoid the sun exposure just a little bit.

Don’t be lazy, start your preparations with exercising and healthy meals so you can focus on your skin while you are getting better. You will get a great tan and your skin will stay young and it will glow.
